Chritmas Wine and Dessert Party

Well our Annual Christmas Wine and Dessert Party, December 13, 2008, went off without a hitch. It was great to have some of the softball team come over. Mark once again impressed everybody with his pastries. His menu consisted of Petit Fours, German Tarts, NY Cheesecakes, Italian Crescents, Decadent Chocolate Cakes, Snikerdoodles, and a White Chocolate Genoch Creme Puff. Patrick did a phenomenal job with the wines this year. He found these great South African wines that complemented each dessert. Everybody had a great time.

Christmas is Coming

Patrick and I decided we need a new tree, since the old one was too small for the room. Now we have a 9 foot tree and wow is it big. We thought we may not have enough ornaments, but nope we made it perfectly. The whole house is decorated now and yes we are having our wine and dessert party again this year. Should be a lot of fun, Patrick invited his softball team and friends. No Crate and Barrel this year, even though Mark is always being asked about it constantly.

Long Time No See

Well, lets see. Patrick and his softball team did a fundraiser to help send the team to the World Series in Seatlle. They should have won. They scored a perfect 10 from all the judges. See for yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9e5VaZ4AJ0

Patrick got elected to the Softball Austin Board as Public Relations Coordinator. That has been a whirlwind experince for him. The summer ran pretty quickly for Patrick in his make ready turns. Pretty simple from what he says. His sister was able to help this year. She moved back to Texas from Las Vegas. Now she helps out when needed at his work.

My work is still hectic as always, retail need I say more. All managers are required to work one Sunday a month. What blows is usually Patrick ahs something planned that weekend for Softball and I have to miss the games and more.

The boys are growing in leaps and bounds. Klaus just celebrated his first birthday. He is almost as large as Schultze now. We keep calling him Polar Bear paws, there big and just furry white

Finally started the painting process

Patrick and I finally agreed on a few color choices for the house. I went to Home Depot and bought quarts for testing. The living room is a keeper! Yeah!

One quart covered more than I thought. As you can see, somebody does not care.
